feelin the beat* this is why drinking in public is a necessity to any free society.

The Love Parade when it was still Fresh (Oldschool Berlin)

Enjoy this video. Its vintage footage from love parades past. The love parade started in 1989 celebrating the demolition of the Berlin wall, and since then was a celebration of universal love. Unfortunately the festival lost lots of its flavor over the years and has been reduced to a massive techno rave, held no longer in Berlin, but beside the highways in middle Germany, simply to manage the techno pilgrim masses flocking in every year from around the world...

"I Slow Flow Y'allz to Death..."

Wassup, welcome to day 2 on freshlikegreentea. So right here im gonna do a little post bout one of my favorite MC's, Evidence. You may know him as a member of Dilated Peoples, but he also has a healthy solo rapping and producing career. The Layover EP is going to drop shortly, his first project since his debut project The Weatherman LP . Here is the newest video, for the Layover, as well as his latest track "For Whom the Bell Tolls" featuring Phonte from Little Brother, Blu and Will.i.am (thankfully sounding non-Black Eyed- Peas-ish). I also added my favorite video and track by Evidence (which are actually one my favorite tracks and videos period!); Mr. Slow Flow. "I can smoke a whole eighth in a spliff, some call that a problem but i call it a gift." Enjoy, and keep it fresh.

Standin on Dirty Acres Feelin Goddamn Filthy...

To kick this blog off, I'm gonna start with a post with what inspires me most in this world: music. Last weekend i had the rare privilege of attending a concert by Cunninlynguists in Herndon, Virginia. Long story short, the promotion for the show must have been pretty shitty, only about 40 people showed up at the show. Nevertheless, they came and lit the stage up like it was a sold out stadium. It was a great show, and to top it off, they were some seriously real guys. Big thanks to Natti, Kno and Deacon for putting on a tip-top performance and inspiring me for the next few weeks. Check out the links for my favorite track. "K.K.K.Y, is more than what you think it is, it aint just tobacco, some bourbon and where horse racing lives".
