WOO HA! GOT YOU ALLLLLL IN CHECK! Whatup fam? Hope all my peoples are doing well, I've been on a super extended staycation in the Big Apple, it looks like i have found a PLACE TO LIVE! Should be resising in Willyburgh BK, in a phat loft with a giant roof with Dr. Nightmare and two other people. You will be hearing about this elusive Dr. Nightmare in the near future...so last night went to the Third Annual J Dilla Tribute. Lots of local artists performed over famous Dilla cuts. Ma Dukes made an appearance on stage and thanked the hip-hop community for all the love they've shown her son. Then none other than Phife Dawg came onstage, and played some Dilla produced Tribe tracks like "Electric Relaxation", "Check The Rhyme, "Butter", and my personal favorite; "Find A Way". Ended up missing the little brother Illa J cuz my homegirl had to get home at a decent hour for work the next day, but it was a great event with amazing energy. Everyone there was gathered to celebrate the life of James "J Dilla" Yancey and kick it to some of his immortal music. Phife said it best: "NO ONE FUCKS WITH J DILLA!" R.I.P brotha.
p.s- Next post will be a MEGA post, as I'm goin to motherfuckin ROCK THE BELLS on Sunaaaaaaay! Will finally get to see my G.O.A.T. NaS!
